PCC holds meeting, demands dissolve assembly | | | Early Times Report jammu, Feb 17: Pradesh Congress Committee (Migrant Cell) today held meeting under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita in which they demanded Governor NN Vohra to dissolve assembly and start proceeding for holding fresh elections. According to press release, Pandita said that the previous coalition Government of PDP and BJP in the State has failed on all fronts in mitigating the sufferings of the masses and ensuring development Programmes in the State. "The conditions the masses of this state pave gone from bad to worst even then the BJP and PDP are still taking up dialogues to frame Coalition government by forgetting their agendas", he said. He has expressed his grave concern over the failure of the Central as well as State Government in insuring permanent rehabilitation of this migrant community in Kashmir valley by bring up satellite township near Srinagar City. During meeting they also appealed for ensuring release of cash relief and Ration to the Kashmiri Pandit migrant community for the month of February and March 2016 on the eve of Maha Shivratri enabling the community members to celebrate this religious festival smoothly. |
