JKTTA stages protest, demands regularization | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 17: Jammu and Kashmir Temporary Teachers Association today staged protest, demanding regularization under the leader ship of Balwinder Singh Pawar. According to press release, hundreds of teachers assembled at exhibition ground near press club Jammu. Pawar urged upon the authorities to settle their genuine demand of regularization as they were appointed under Government order no. Edu -482-of2014 Dt 02-07-2014 on pure merit bases. After completion of one academic session i.e 2014-15 we were disengaged from the service. Since, from that day we are struggling for the continuation of our service. For the same we had gone for long hunger strike of 43 days, he said. This strike was withdrawn after obtaining the many assurances from the department and Government. But nothing has been done by the government. They appealed Governor NN Vohra to personally intervene in this matter and directed concern department for continuation of service. |
