2/21/2016 11:43:46 PM

Early Times Report
Doda, Feb 20: A cop, who is at present posted in CID wing of police, is alleged to have issued a threat to a man over a land dispute.
While the cop claims to be the owner of land, according to documents, it belongs to the person who is being threatened, according to police sources.
Ghulam Qadir Malik of Bharath filed a case before the sub-judge, Doda, praying for removing the illegal occupation of his land allegedly by Zakir Hussain of Bharath, who is an employee of police (CID wing), and his brother.
Qadir submitted that the land measuring 8 marlas situated on Khasra No 1198 "belongs to him and he possesses relevant documents but Zakir, abusing his official position, threatens him of dire consequences and has encroached the land along with his brother".
He alleged that despite the filing of the case, the encroachers had not stopped work on the land.
Meanwhile, Doda tehsildar has directed Girdawar and Patwari of the concerned area to go to the spot and take the stock of the situation.
