Amid strict vigil, 2854 candidates take JKSSB at Kishtwar | | | Asif Iqbal Naik
Early Times Report Kishtwar, Feb 21: Amid strict vigil and tight security, of 4109 aspirants 2854 appeared for objective type written test of plus two level posts for non-gazetted posts in government departments, conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) in district kishtwar today. Deputy Commissioner, Ghulam Nabi Balwan who was the over supervisory officer visited each and every examination center along with Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma, Chief Planning Officer, Dr. Yasir Balwan, ACR, Dr. Khalid Malik, SDM Chatroo Masood Qazi and CEO Abdul Hamid Fani and ensured free and fair examination in all the centers. The district administration had provided all the logistics, like supervisory staff including the deployment of principals as supervisors , senior lecturers/lecturers as assistant supervisors and Tehsildars as duty magistrates in all government as well as private schools, where around 12 examination centers were established. Earlier Deputy Commissioner conducted series of meetings with district officers related with the conduct of free & fair examination. "The detailed exercises witnessed the success on the 21st Feb, 2016, when all the candidates sighed a relief by appearing in the objective test at their hometown in peaceful manner" said DC adding "For the second -time, the JKSSB had conducted an objective type written test for the non-gazetted plus two level posts in the government sector at district kishtwar under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner ." He said that the test went off smoothly, fairly and in peaceful manner in all the examination centers as the tight security was also deployed around the examination centers by district magistrate and Senior superintendent of Police Sandeep Wazir. He said that some students at HSS Boys Kishtwar complaint about missing of their roll numbers added that with the intervention of observers, the issue was addressed amicably and the students were allowed to sit in the test. Salim Malik, the general observer from SSB too visited in all the centers along with Additional Deputy Commissioner & CEO and witnessed the free & fair examination. The section 144 was also imposed around the examination centers and no untoward or any stray incident was witnessed during the conduct of examination. While talking to "Early Times", the job aspirants appear in today's test showed satisfaction over the way the examination were conducted in free and fair manner. |
