Jammu, Feb 21: In connection with Celebration of 639 Parkash Utsav of Guru Ravi Dass ji Maharaj and holding of series of functions in this connection to spread the teachings of Guru ji ,All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha organised a big congregation here today in which Advisor to Governor Parvez Dewan was Chief Guest. Besides, revered Saints, B.R.Kundal, President Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Piran Ditta, President Hotel & Restaurant Association, Katra Rakesh Wazir, President Vishkarma Sabha Shashi Verma, President Bhagat Sabha Mohinder Amarnath,Tarseem Khullar,Tulsi Dass Langeh,Raj Kumar Raja and people from all walks of life participated.
Dewan while speaking on the occasion said that Guru Ravi Dass ji spread the message of Peace, Equality, Brotherhood and justice among the masses for the whole complete life and their famous couplet "Aisa Chaho Raaj Main Jahan Mile Sabhi ko Ann, Shooth Bade Sab Sang Basein Rahe Ravi Dass Parsann" still looms large in the minds of the people and the time has come where the teachings of Guru ji are required to be spread among the people so that the differences which are widening on the name of caste, creed, religion and other small things be removed altogether from the society and the people may live happily irrespective of these small differences. Piran Ditta while speaking on the occasion thanked the people for making celebrations of Guru Ravi Dass ji a huge success and said that coming out of the people in large number and that too from all the walks of life reflects that the message of Guru ji is spreading in real spirit and further said that now different Shakha Sabhas will celebrate the birthday of Guru Ravi Dass ji in their respective areas for the coming whole complete month and likewise spread the message of their teachings in real scene. The famous religious Sants including Sant Satwant Heera ji Maharaj, Sant Jagdish Giri ji Maharaj, Sant Viney Muni Ji Maharaj etc. also enthralled the audience by speaking on the occasion and threw light on the life and teachings of Guru ji. |
