B N Singh nominated provincial vice president JKPDTU | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 22: In order to strengthen JKPDTU at provincial level, the state executive has decided to reach out to the employees representatives in Jammu Province. While addressing press conference Suresh Sharma State President JKPDTU declared nomination of B N Singh, a senior trade union leader and at present elected President of SKUAST Non-Teaching Association, as Provincial Vice President of the new set up of the JKPDTU after registration. He hoped that Singh will strive hard for strengthening the JKPDTU in order to raise the voice of the working class of the State at appropriate forums. He, on this occasion appealed the trade Union leaders of different sections of the working class to realize and understand the objectives of this organization and become the active organs/part of the JKPDTU which is a vibrant and effective voice of the working class of the state. He supported the one day demonstration programme announced by SGEJAC in front of Raj Bhawan on March 9 and appealed all to make it a grand success. He appealed NN Vohra to immediately announce release of 6 percent DA, regularize all the daily wagers, removal of pay anomalies of all cadres including clerical cadre, budgetary support to the PSUs, merger of State Forest Corporation with Forest Department, dislocation allowance to the employees posted in rural areas, increase in the medical allowance to Rs 3000, reorganization of Estates Department and Municipal Corporation. |
