Jammu, Feb 22 : Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad has expressed grief and shock over the loss of five security personnel, including two Captains and one civilian in the Pampore encounter in Pulwama District of J&K. Paying rich tributes to the martyred army officers and security jawans, Azad said that the nation is indebted to the valiant jawans and officers who made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Offering heartfelt sympathies to the families of the martyred officers and soldiers, Azad said "I share the grief of the bereaved families and pray to Almighty to grant them courage to bear the irreparable loss". Condemning the dastardly attack, Azad said that Pakistan sponsored terrorists, who are hell-bent to disrupt peace and tranquillity in Jammu & Kashmir, will not be able to shake our resolve to combat terrorism unleashed from across the border. |
