Kishtwar, Feb 25:Munsiff Court, Kishtwar, today directed SHO of Kishtwar police station to probe into the complainant filed under section 202 of CrPC by PHE employee Mohammad Iqbal Shah of Pohie against an AEE and a union leader of PDD, alleging that the accused had used abusive language and manhandled him when he approached their office at Kishtwar with a complaint of irregular electric supply to the village.
As per the details available with Early Times, Shah's action came after PDD lodged a complainant against him with Kishtwar police alleging that he had misbehaved and manhandled the officer in the chair.
On the basis of the complaint lodged by PDD, Kishtwar police registered an FIR under relevant sections of law against Shah who after appearing before police today denied the allegation and filed a complaint against PDD AEE A K Intakhab and union leader Mohammad Rafi Kichloo in the court of CJM, Kishtwar, who forwarded the case to Munsiff Court.
In the complaint, a prayer was made to the court to direct police to investigate the case and register an FIR under sections 341, 323, 504 and 506 of RPC.
Munsiff Khem Raj Sharma, after hearing the counsel of the petitioner, passed an order and forwarded the complaint to SHO of Police Station, Kishtwar, with the direction to investigate the matter under section 202 of CrPC and report accordingly within 10 days from the date of receipt of the order.
Earlier, PHE employees held a protest against PDD officials and its union leader. Later, they called on DC, Kishtwar, and described the complaint filed against their colleague as false and concocted and demanded immediate revocation of FIR registered against him. The DC assured them that he would look into the matter and stressed that the employees of both the department should have cordial and friendly relations.
