| BJP leader among many join NC in presence of Dr Farooq | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 26: Sudesh Kumar Bhandari, former BJP District President of SC/ST Wing Kathua and Choudhry Khushal Ahmed, President Gujjar Students Association of Kathua joined National Conference in presence of the party President Dr Farooq Abdullah here on Friday. Party President and former union minister Dr Abdullah welcomed them in the party fold and said that National Conference has all along provided platform to young people so that they can play their role in shaping destiny of the state. Earlier Bhandari and Khushal Ahmed pledged to work for further strengthening the National Conference at grass root level in the district and exuded faith that NC alone can satiate the aspirations of youth and steer the state to peace, progress and development. They said they will work as foot-soldiers to carry forward the cherished mission of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah in strengthening the bonds of unity and amity between various segments of the society. Provincial Youth National Conference President Ajaz Jan and District President Jammu Urban Dharamveer Singh Jamwal were also present on the occasion. |
