Budget speech of Railway Minister was jugglery of words : NCP | | | JAMMU, Feb 26 : It is very sad that people who were ruling us since independence have criminally neglected the most important public utility system- the railways which is the backbone of India's biggest transport network, said president state unit of NCP Randhir Singh. The NCP leader said he was disappointe to watch the presentation of railway budget of Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on TV which ignored the entire geography of this vast country from Ladakh to Kanyakumari to North East. Singh said Railway is the backbone of our economy which is geographically ignored by the Railway minister who ignored the most important link to connect Kargil with Leh right upto Tibet border where the Chinese have brought rail right upto our border. Singh while addressing the media said that India was currently facing a two and half front war which involved challenges from both Pakistan and China as also internal battles involving low intensity warfare and terrorism. |
