Jourian, Feb 26 : With the purpose to make the masses of locality financially literate, the J&K Bank Business Unit Sohal at Panchayat Ghar Devipur today organized wherein a large number of local people participated. Assistant Vice President J&K Bank Zonal Office Jammu, Rajesh Gupta, Financial Literacy Councilor Mohinder Kumar and Rajesh Bhat from Agriculture Department participated in the camp. Business unit Head Sanjeev Bhasin welcomed participants and public on the behalf JK Bank Sohal and presented the outline of the function. Mohinder Kumar apprised the participants about the various scheme-, and products of deposits and insurance of the bank such as PMJJBY. PMSBY and Atal Pension Yojna, Ladli Beti and other financial assistances being provided to its customers. Mohinder discussed about the features Prime Ministers Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) as it was meant for the purpose of bringing the entire population particularly people living below poverty line within the banking fold, by opening their accounts in banks for extending the benefits of lCT enabled financial services to the people especially living in unbanked areas. |
