CUJ, VLCC Institute sign MOU | | | JAMMU, Mar 11: The Central University of Jammu (CUJ) and VLCC Institute, Gurgaon today signed an Memorandum of Understanding to jointly offer programme in the area of Beauty and Wellness under Community College. CUJ entered into MOU with a purpose of building collaboration and strengthening the understanding between the two organizations and conduct skill development programme in Beauty and Wellness in collaborative mode with a mutual co-operation. The scope of this MoU is to define the areas of work where both the parties desire to work together to benefit from each other's strengths and expertise. CUJ Vice-Chancellor, Prof Ashok Aima, presided over the session and made some interesting remarks on the Beauty and Wellness industry and its potential in terms of employment and entrepreneurship. He further announced besides financial support University Business Incubation Centre would provide the necessary mentoring to students of Community College who wanted to start their own ventures. Deepanshu Khurana, Head Education Services highlighted about the industry and the prevailing placement scenario in the Country. Under the MoU, VLCC would provide the resources, in terms of qualified, experienced faculty, study material and placement support to the students for the Diploma in Beauty and Wellness whereas CUJ will provide the infrastructural facilities. For Central University of Jammu MOU is signed by Jit Singh, Registrar, CUJ and Deepanshu Khurana, Head Education Services, VLCC. |
