Niaz calls on CS, lists demands | | | JAMMU, Mar 11 : Ex-minister and senior Congress leader Mohammed Sharief Niaz today called on chief secretary B R Sharma and apprised him of the problems being faced by the people of Bhaderwah assembly segment. He told the CS that people of Bhallessa , Bhaderwah, Bhella, Chiralla and Jaura Hallaran areas of Bhaderwah were faced with the problem of unscheduled power cuts. The government should not charge power tariff for the time people of these villages were kept without electricity, he demanded. Niaz also emphasised the need for improving the power supply to these areas while demanding an enhance in monthly ration to locals as per Food Security Act. He demanded filling of vacant posts of doctors and medical staff in CHCs of Bhaderwah, Bhalessa and Thatri, and all dispensaries of Bhaderwah constituency. He also demanded immediate resumption of construction work on CHCs of Gondoh and Bhaderwah. He also demanded regulari-sation of casual labours, daily wagers, HR workers, Anganwari workers and SPOs. A budget provision be ensured for their wages, he demanded. Niaz demanded a bus service from old Bus Stand, Bhaderwah, to Jammu, Srinagar , Kishtwar, Doda and Bhallessa. |
