Gang of thieves busted, seven theft cases solved, six held | | | Rajouri, Mar 12: Rajouri Police have claimed to have solved seven burglary cases with the busting of a gang of six burglars besides recovering stolen property including two motor cycles, mobile phone etc worth Rs 1,50,000/- from their possession. Police spokesperson said, "Keeping in view the spurt in thefts and burglaries in Noshehra and surrounding areas, a special team was constituted by SDPO Noshehra M S Sargun Shukla, IPS which under the supervision of SSP Rajouri Rajeshwar Singh which busted the a gang of thieves." He said the accused have been identified as Ansar Mehmood, Sajad Mehmood s/o Manzoor Hussain of Dabber Nowshera, Davindar Kumar s/o Romesh Chandar of Dharat Nowshera, Sunil Kumar s/o Chuuni Lal of Jhangat, Babel Kumar s/o Lal Chand and Kulbir Chanial s/o Hamam Singh Dabber Nowshera." "Police team has recovered two motor cycle, cash, mobile phone etc valuing to Rs 1,50,000/- which was recovered on their disclosures. The special tea, headed by SHO Nowshera inspector Ravindar Singh Parihar assisted by SI Altaf Hussain, SI Ghukam Murtaza, I/C PP Bhawani and HC Sham Lal cracked the gang of those burglars and solved seven cases registered against FIRs registered against accused viz. FIR No: 9 /2016 u/s 457/380/RPC; 10/2016 u/s 457/380/RPC; 11/2016 u/s 457/380/RPC; 13/2016 u/s 379/RPC; 17/2016 u/s 457/380/RPC; 13/2016 u/s 379/RPC; 17/2016 u/s 457/380/RPC; 20/2016 u/s 379/RPC and 19/2016 u/s 457/380/511/RPC at Police Station Nowshera." Police said further investigations are on in this regard. |
