Officer doesn't like 2 SHOs, attaches them
3/13/2016 12:32:44 AM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 12: A senior police officer did not like SHOs of two police stations of Jammu and had been finding fault with their style of working.
As he was not getting a convincing reason to replace them with his own men, he ordered their attachment with DPL and posted there IPS and KPS trainee officers. After their trainee period was over, he would post his 'blue eyed' SHOs at the two police stations, thus getting rid of the two 'unfavourite' SHOs.
The senior officer has posted trainee IPS officer Om Prakash at R S Pura police station and trainee KPS officer Imitiaz Ahmad Mir at Gandhi Nagar police station. The SHOs of these two police stations were attached with DPL.
Police sources said the IPS officer could have been posted in any of the police stations in Jammu city, but he was deliberately posted at R S Pura to shift the SHO.
Mir was earlier asked to join the city police station, but he was later asked to join the Gandhi Nagar police station on the plea that incidents of crime were more there as compared to the city police station. The order says that he would take over the Gandhi Nagar police station on Sunday.
The senior officer wanted his man to be posted at Gandhi Nagar police station. Just to tease the SHO, he had been holding meetings at the thana and finding faults with his working, sources alleged.
"When the two officers complete their trainee period, the senior officer will most likely post his favourites at the two police stations," sources felt.
