reasi, Mar: 12: In the wake of heavy rainfall and bad weather conditions, District Police Reasi on Saturday issued an alert and constituted a disaster response force to tackle any eventuality.
"Heavy rainfall is going on in the district since last night and to meet an eventuality and disaster-like situation, an alert for policemen has been issued," said SSP Reasi Sujit Kumar.
He stated that disaster response force teams have been constituted at the level of all police stations and police posts.
A helpline has also been established and people have been asked to call on the PCR number in case of any exigency. |
