Addressing the protesters, Dev Raj Bali criticized the attitude of the higher authorities of the Transport department as they failed to clear their legitimate dues and it is apparent that they are harassing them for the last six years and what was committed to them was not provided so far as it was promised that within 60 days the dues will be released in favour of VRS employees of the J&K SRTC. But due to the negligence of the department, as many as 12 VRS employees have been passed away as they could not afford medical treatment. Appealing Prime Minister Narendra Modi to personally intervene into the matter and announce a package for the VRS employees of the J&K state be announced so that they may take a sigh of relief as they have already suffered a lot in the hands of previous coalition government, they added. Moreover 12 VRS employees have been passed away in this long struggle as they could not afford good treatment for want of funds, who is responsible for this irreparable loss to their families, after all they have their given whole lives for the cause of J&K SRTC. |
