Kishtwar, Mar 29 : The Director School Education (DSE), Jammu, today placed under suspension a Master from Kishtwar district for visiting her office to seek modification in his transfer order. The DSE issued suspension order, alleging that the master had violated her directions and also misbehaved with her. The charges have, however, been denied by various associations of the education department. According to official sources, DSE Samita Sethi, vide her order No DSEJ/NG/73617-27 of March 29, 2016, ordered immediate suspension of Master Rajinder Kumar, who at present was posted at Government Middle School, Mulchittar Zone, inderwal. In the suspension order addressed to CEO, Kishtwar, DSE stated that the master approached her office on March 28, 2016, seeking posting in his home town Kishtwar proper, instead of M S Mulchittar Zone, Inderwal. It was not a public meeting day yesterday as it has been notified before that public meeting day in the directorate shall be between 3 pm to 5 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only and officers/officials intending to visit directorate for their personal grievances shall seek proper permission and leave from their DDOs in their respective districts, the DSE said. He approached the DSE office on a working day and could not produce any permission letter issued by the head of the institution, sources said, alleging that he also misbehaved with the DSE. "Therefore, in view of his unauthorised presence in the directorate, he is placed under suspension with immediate effect, the DSE ordered, saying it was imperative to deter such elements who have vitiated the whole environment in the department and created indiscipline," she said, seeking explanation from the concerned ZEOs and CEO, Kishtwar, as to how despite her instructions on visits to the directorate, the Master had visited her office. This clearly showed lackadaisical approach of the ZEOs/CEOs to the circular instructions of Directorate of Administrative Department. She alleged that the master had also misbehaved with her. Meanwhile, various associations of education department reacted sharply on Rajinder's suspension and added that monopoly, favouritism and nepotism had made the teaching community to suffer while condemning the suspension of Rajinder Kumar. "Many teachers are suffering from depression after finding no scope of transfers from far flung areas as a result of which lives of their children and family members has been badly affected. Had Rajinder a political backing, his transfer order would have been modified," rued teachers. They demanded immediate revocation of suspension order of Rajinder Kumar. |
