Ramban, Mar 29 : Taking cognizance against dereliction of duties by teaching fraternity, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar today placed whole staff of Government High School Mangith in Tehsil Khari of district Ramban including six teachers and one class fourth employee after found the school closed during working day.
According to official spokesperson, the staff which was placed under suspension, include six teachers namely Mohammad Akther (Incharge), Reyaz Ahmed, Mohammad Iqbal, Sultan Akhter, Bilal Hussain and Abdul Roof Mir besides a class fourth employee Zeba Begum.
DC Ramban also has directed the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Ramban, Mohammad Sharief to initiate enquiry into the matter followed by reply within ten days for taking further stringent action.
Pertinent to mention here that locals from the village Mangith had also complained about the non-functioning of school and unauthorized absence of the teachers from their regular duties thereby putting the career of students at stake. |
