HC grants four weeks time to file status report
Jammu, Mar 29 : In a PIL on the alleged misappropriation of food grains worth crores of rupees, a high court division bench of Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir and Justice B S Walia today granted four weeks' time to the state to file status report.
The bench observed that in terms of July 7, 2015 order, six weeks' time was granted for filing status report, indictaing the steps taken by the government to enforce recoveries, as also indicate the action proposed against the erring officials. When the advocate general said he should be given some time to file the detailed status report, the bench granted four weeks' time. (JNF) |
