| Vigilance charge-sheets officials of PHE division Baramulla | | 'Fraudulent regularization of daily rated workers' | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Mar 29: Vigilance Organization Kashmir presented a Charge Sheet (Challan) in terms of section 173 CrPC before the anti-corruption Court, Baramulla in Case FIR No. FIR 13/2010 under section 5(2) of Jammu & Kashmir Prevention of Corruption Act Samvat 2006 r/w section 420,467,468, 471,120-B RPC after obtaining proper sanction for launching prosecution from the competent authority vide order No.35-GAD(Vig) of 2015 dated 26-11-2015 against the officers/officials of PHE division Baramulla and the beneficiaries.
The brief facts of the case are that Vigilance Organization Kashmir has registered a case after conducting verification into the fraudulent regularization of daily rated workers and their subsequent drawl of salary by the officials of PHE Division Baramulla through illegal means during the period 2005-06. The accused public servants by abuse of their official position in league with each other under a conspired plan made appointment/ regularization of beneficiaries as regular employees in PHE Division to confer undue benefit upon them and the beneficiaries.
The Investigation of the case was concluded as proved against the accused for launching prosecution; the Challan of the case has been produced before the Hon'ble Court of Special Judge Anti-corruption, Baramulla Kashmir. |
