| ABVP holds protest against VC JU | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 29: ABVP today held a protest against Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu for dictatorial policies for the students.
Students of Jammu university raised slogans against the Vice chancellor like "Vice chancellor haye haye, VC tum Ek kaam karo Kursi Chhodo aram Karo, VC istifaa do, Shaheedo ke samman mein Abvp maidan mein.
Shubham Amar a student said that the genetics dept has been closed in the tenure of this VC and many courses has been closed in the distance education. Sidhant Randhawa said that such policies will not be tolerated by the students and soon huge movement will be started inside the Campus
Bhawna Bharti said that VC has failed to provide ample accommodation for the girls in the hostel and in his tenure a girl was thrown out of the hostel at midnight hours and VC failed to provide any security and has not worked in the field of developing any girls hostel.
Naina Dogra said that it's a student issue and VC has dishonoured the martyrs for not providing space for conducting Blood Donation camp and is providing space for antinationalist like Prof Nandani Bhattacharya who are trying to divide the students into religions.
Other prominent present were abhinav Pandotra Ganesh Kunde Jasbir piyush akash Pulkit naman aman Sidharth Shiv dilip surender Sanjeev Kanav Madhu. |
