| Ahead of ULB, Panchayat polls, NC constitutes its committees for Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Mar 29: In order to strengthen the party at grass root level ahead of possible elections to Urban Local Bodies (ULB) and Panchayat elections in the state, National Conference in Kishtwar District announced City, Block and Mandal Committees with an aim to reach out to voters at grass root level.
As per the details available with "Early Times" District President National Conference Kishtwar Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo nominated office bearers to various City and Block Committees to make the party vibrant and responsive to peoples' aspirations.
"The nominations have been made after due approval of the party President Dr Farooq Abdullah, Working President Omar Abdullah, General Secretary, Ali Mohammad Sagar and Provincial President Devender Singh Rana, party spokesperson said.
As per party spokesman, youth leader Khalid Mir had been nominated as City President for Kishtwar while as Mohammad Iqbal Bagwan, Shah Nawaz Sheikh, Mohammad Afzal Hajam, Pyari Lal, Mohammad Amin Mir, Bashir Ahmed Sheikh, Molvi Gulam Hussain will be the Vice Presidents.
Similarly Shokat Ali Butt, Mohammad Amin Sufi have been nominated as the Secretaries for City Committe Kishtwar, beside Atta Mohammad Sheikh, Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh will be the Joint Secretaries.
For Block Committe Mandal Kishtwar veteran party leader Wali Mohd Giri has been nominated as Block President while Abdul latief Sheikh, Haji Mohammad Shafi Sheikh have been nominated as Senior Vice Presidents. Whereas Haider Ali Beg, Ghulam Hussain Lone, Mohammad Shafi Butt have been nominated as vice President and Ghulam Mohammad Zargar has been nominated as Cashier, Mohammad Amin Shah has been nominated as Block secretary Mandal Kishtwar.
Meanwhile Ghulam Qadir Beg, Shrikant Sharma, Sajjad Ahmed Khan, Javed Iqbal Zargar, Ghulam Qadir Hajam were catapulted as joint secretaries Block Committee Mandal Kishtwar, Master Abdul Rasheed as office secretary and Ghulam Ali Sheikh has been nominated as Cashier. |
