Jammu, Mar 29: The daughter of the soil Sonali Dogra, the winner of voice of Punjab today mesmerized the Jammuites with scintillating performance at Abhinav theatre. Sonali, who also won "Choona hai Aasman" has been declared winner of "Voice of Punjab" and it was her first public performance in Jammu after winning the title. Talking to Early Times, Sonali said, that it is because of my parents support and of course, the people of Jammu who stood by me and supported me in winning voice of Punjab. She further said, this is my first performance in Jammu after winning the title and in future, she would love to perform in her home city. Earlier, the programme started with the Dogri song, which was followed by Punjabi numbers which were applauded by the Jam packed crowd. She also sang one Hindi song, besides sufi and semi-classic items. She was accompanied by Punjab based musical group. Principal Commissioner Income Tax Sangeeta Gupta, Dc Jammu Simrandeep Singh, IG Jammu and many other dignitaries were present on the occasion. ICCR Regional Director Balwant Thakur organized the said show. |
