Major revamp in Kishtwar NC

Kishtwar, Mar 31: After announcing of city and Mandal committees for District Kishtwar, National Conference today took a major revamp in organizational setup in Kishtwar District ahead of proposed Urban Local Bodies and Panchayat elections in the state.
As per the details available with "Early Times", National Conference District President Kishtwar Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo today announced constitutions of fresh committees for Schedule Caste, Ex service Man, Legal cell and Labour Cell in presence of senior party leaders including Imtiyaz Ahmed Zarger, Shabir Ahmed Kamal, Farooq Ahmed Dev, Moin Sheikh, Liquat Hussain Giri and others.
As per the handout issued by the National Conference Kishtwar, Ashok Kumar Baghat, a retired R&B employee has been nominated as District President for Schedule caste cell while Mohan Lal, Muni Devi as Vice Presidents, Doulat Ram retired Naib Tehsildar from Padder as Secretary and Manjeet Kour from Drabshala as Joint Secretary. For welfare of Ex Service Man Cell, Retired Captain Ramesh Kumar of Matta Kishtwar has been nominated as President while Ex Sarpanch Saroop Chand, Retired Subedar Mohammad Iqbal were nominated as Vice Presidents, Mohammad Ayoob Giri as Secretary and Retired ASI Jagdish Raj of Wasser Kishtwar as Joint Secretary. Advocate Mohammad Younas Kichloo has been nominated as President and Advocate Promode Kumar Sen as Secretary District Committee Legal Cell Kishtwar while as Abdul Majid Shah will head the committee of District Labour Cell Kishtwar as its President, Ghulam Hussain Waza, Nazir Ahmed Butt as Vice Presidents, Abdul Latief Naqib as Secretary and Mohammad Iqbal Shah of Dugga Kishtwar will be the Joint Secretary of NC's Kishtwar Labour Cell.
While talking to "Early Times", District President NC Kishtwar Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo said that the committees were made after the approval of Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Working President Omar Abdullah and Provincial Secretary Davinder Singh Rana, added that the aim and objective of making such committees is to give representation to all sections of the society in the party further added that party leadership has been asked to reach up to the masses at grass root level.
He said that the party is committed for welfare of all the sections of the society and said that newly formed committees will reach out to the people and party workers with an aim to understand their problems so that same could be accessed and taken up at an appropriate forums. He said that PDP and BJP had failed to come up to the expectations of the common people.
