ACD Kishtwar suspends TA, MPW for Sub Standard work 3/31/2016 11:31:05 PM Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Kishtwar, Mar 31: Taking strong note of execution of Sub Standard quality work which led to the surrendering of Rs. 5 lacs sanctioned by the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department for construction of Panchayat Bhawan in Tatani area of Drabshala block in Kishtwar District, Assistant Commissioner Development Kishtwar today placed MPW and Technical Assistant under suspension till pending enquiry. As per the details available with "Early Times", Assistant Commissioner Development Akther Hussain Qazi on the basis of the report given by Block Development Officer Drabshala and Assistant Executive Engineer wherein both stated that the execution of work executed for the construction of Panchayat Bhawan in Tatani Panchayat is not satisfactory and hence the bills for the said executed work could not be released on account of sub standard work which ultimately led to the lapse of Rs. 5 lacs meant for the construction of said Panchayat Bhawan, placed MPW Rakesh Kumar and Technical Assistant Viqar Hussain under suspension with immediate effect. "As reported by BDO/AEE and pending enquiry in the matter, Rakesh Kumar MPW and Viqar Hussain Technical Assistant Block Drabshala are placed under suspension with immediate effect. Both, the officials shall be deemed to be relieved from BDO Office Drabshala and will remain attached in this office till further order" read ACD Kishtwar order issued vide No. ACDK/Estt/2016/11917-22. Meanwhile the sources informed the "Early Times" that local Sarpanch has executed the said work added that only the walls of the Panchayat Bhawan and same was stopped after detection of Sub Standard work.
