Mendhar, Mar 31: The government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Mendhar, would soon get a new superintendent to make it fully functional. The district administration has decided to post a superintendent at the Mendhar ITI, following filing of stories by Early Times on its deteriorating educational standards. In the absence of its head, Surankote ITI superintendent Niyaz Ahmad was holding the additional charge of Mendhar ITI. He would soon be relieved of his additional charge as Javed Ahmad was now posted as Mendhar ITI superintendent, official sources said. Javed was likely to join his duties next week, sources informed. "The non-functional workshops will be made functional and raw material for several trades have started reaching the institute to enable the students of these trades to develop their skills," sources said. |
