JKSC sanctions releases Rs. 7lakh as grant-in-aid 4/7/2016 10:28:34 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 7: Jammu and Kashmir State Sports council today released an amount of Rs. 7 lakh 8 thousand and 8 hundred as grant in aid to various Associations for the participation in national events . A sanction of special grant-in-aid approved by the Standing Committee in its 131' meeting held on 27-10-2015 under the chairmanship of Minister for Youth Services & Sports is given to the following associations: Rs. 3 Lakh 78 thousand in favour of J&K Handball Association in connection with hosting of 20" North Zone Handball Championship at Jammu from 5-7" April 2016. Rs. 56,700/- was released in favour of J7K Veterans Athletic Association for clearing the liabilities accrued on participation of State contingent in 37th National Veterans Athletic Championship at Vadisha (MP) from 7th- 9th jan 2016. A sanction of Rs. 3,30,800/- was released in the favour of J&K Volley ball Association for participation in National level championship. "The funds so released shall be subject to fulfillment of usual terms and conditions as specified in Sports Council Order No: 255 of 2015 dated: 05.09.2015. The Joint Secretary (J), Chief Sports Officer & Sports Officer(J).
