| Two day training programme organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 6: A training programme of two days was organized in the office of Mission Director, JKSRLM, Jammu on 5th and 6th of April. The training covered the detailed policy of Bank Mitra.
The introductory session of the training was chaired by Dr. G.N.Qasba, Mission Director, JKSRLM besides Retainer Consultant NRLM Farooq Ahmad Peer and other State Project Managers were also present.
Highlighting the objectives of Bank Mitra Policy, Madan Gupta, State Project Manager, Financial Inclusion organized the training program. It has elaborated on diverse concepts of relationship between SHG's and banks throughout the state.
The training covered the 12 different valuable sessions presented by concerned officials. The output of the training is expected to cover the constraints that are faced by Bank Mitra's while performing their activities.
It may ensure the high level of professionalism among the community cadre for effective implementation of program.
Since, one of the aims of NRLM has been formation of the institutions; the two day training will help in linking the community institution to banking sector and making them viable resources for livelihood. The knowledge about financial literacy has also been covered so that poor can take benefits from other schemes such as Prime Ministers Jan Dhan Yojna, Suraksha Bima Yojna and Jeewan Jyoti Bima Yojna . |
