jammu, Apr 7: Continuing its drive against drug and narcotics peddlers in city, the Gandhi Nagar police today claimed to have arrested three drug peddlers and effecting recovery of 180 bottles of Croex which is strictly a prescription drug.
"In continuation to operation 'Sanjeevani', the drive against drugs launched by SSP Jammu Dr. Sunil Gupta, today police party from Gandhi Nagar headed by Dy.SP Vishal Manhas assisted by SHO Gandhi Nagar Dy.SP (P) Mir Imtiyaz Ahmed while performing naka duty at Last Morh Gandhi Nagar stopped one Bolero bearing regd no: JK20-5160 coming from Satwari Chowk to Bikram Chowk," Police spokesman said here today for checking.
"During the search of vehicle, police team recovered 180 Corex bottles and arrested three occupants of the vehicle who during questioning disclosed their name as Dheeraj Khajuria of City Chowk, Jammu, Sunil Singh of Manwal, Udhampur and Rahul Sharma of Gangyal", said spokesman. The catch was made by a team working under the supervision of Shazad Salaria, SP City South, Jammu, police said. |
