'Remain in your offices during VIPs visits' | GMC admins order to HODs/MS | | Nitesh Sangral ET Report jammu, May 5: To hide their failures and expose of their malpractices by any of the staff member, the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu administration has reportedly put clutches in feet of all Head of Departments, by issued a dictatorial dictate, asking them to be in their respective offices during visit of any Minister or VVIPs. Sources informed Early Times that such types of order was not issued by any higher authority in this hospital before it and its shows that administration of the hospital do not want to highlight those issues which are not suits them before the Minister and VVIPs. "When former Ministers visited to the GMC and its associated hospitals, a group of doctors even some other doctors of departments presented during the visit of Ministers and issues related to different department were taken up by the doctors so that the Minister consider the matter and issue directions in this regard as soon as possible, "Sources added. Sources added Minister or VVIP don't have enough time to listen or discuss issues by meeting with doctors of the departments separately, it is right time when Minister' visit to convey and discuss genuine issues regarding patient care, deficiencies in departments and other issues. Sources alleged that the doctors have been restricted to restrain their offices by issuing an order, exposed the working of administration of the hospital that they will present issues which are suits them and hide the ground reality from the Minister and VVIPs during their visit. "Interestingly, administration also mentioned in the order that officials and doctors will be accompany the undersigned who are required to and have been asked to during the visit of Ministers to VVIPs, it shows that the administration will be called those who are near and dear of them, "Sources further alleged. However, the officials of the GMC&H claims that the order only issued after seeing the situation that a lot numbers of doctors accompany Ministers or VVIPs during their visit by leaving their departments and patients are suffering due to their unavailability. Contradictory the claims of officials of the hospital, doctors at GMC&H believed that patients have not suffered during any visit of Ministers/ VVIPs as those doctors accompany them who want to discuss their departmental issues. |
