Votes from Jammu, focus on Kashmir | BJP taunts its constituency | | Early Times Report jammu, May 5: Ungrateful BJP, which won both the Lok Sabha seats hands down and also won 25 seats with a huge margin from Jammu in 2014, has again taunted and ridiculed its constituency. It has once again told the people of Jammu province, who brought the BJP into power in the state last year, that they have no place in its scheme of things and that its attitude towards Kashmir is no different from that of the Congress. Actually, it was none other than J&K BJP president Sat Sharma of NC background who the other day cleared the confusion and declared that time has come for the BJP to solve all the so-called problems confronting Kashmir Valley. "Many problems confront the people of Kashmir. These problems have to be surmounted and the BJP will not leave any stone unturned to achieve the objective," he said in Kashmir on Tuesday. Sat Sharma said that the BJP was fully aware of the nature of problems facing the people of Kashmir and that it would see to it that all the issues facing Kashmir were addressed by the BJP ministers. He, in fact, charged the BJP ministers with the responsibility of taking care of the developmental and other needs of all the Kashmir's ten districts. He nominated Forest Minister Lal Singh for Srinagar district, Deputy Chief Minister for Bandipora, Minister for Health and Medical Education Bali Bhagat for Shopian-Pulwama, PHE Minister Sham Lal for Gandarbal, Industry and Commerce Minister ChanderPrakash Ganga for Budgam, Animal Sheep Husbandry Minister Abdul Gani Kohli for Baramulla, MOS Sunil Sharma for Kupwara, Mos Ajay Nanda for Kulgam and MoSPriyaSethi for Anantnag. That the BJP charged the BJP ministers with the responsibility of addressing the issues facing the Kashmir's ten districts and didn't adopt the same model for the Jammu's ten districts should clinch the whole issue and establish that the BJP is worse than the Congress and that the people of Jammu province committed a grave blunder by pinning faith in it in 2014. |
