Various Schools celebrate Mother's Day

Jammu, May 8: Various Schools of Jammu Province celebrated Mother's Day celebrated with great zeal on Sunday.
Jodhamal Freshers of classes I-III celebrated Mother's Day in the School O.A.T. Mrs Neetu Menni Gulati, Principal Polytechnic Collage Jammu was the Chief Guest on this auspicious occasion. The programme began with the lighting of the Lamp by the Chief Guest along with the School Principal, Trilok Singh Bist, the School Trustee, Ms Arati Kuthiala and the Vice Principal, Ms Monika Sethi.
The junior kids of classes I, II and III gave a wonderful performance of their talent.
They danced merrily and sang songs in the praise of motherhood.
The students showcased Arabian Dance, Western Dance and a Musical Fantasy. The mothers were held captive with the glimpses of the school memories of their wards. A song dedicated to all the mothers by students brought tears into their eyes.
To entertain the mothers, games were also organized. The mothers participated enthusiastically in the game show. Prize were given to the winning mothers.
Students as well as their mothers expressed their immense and eternal love.
Chief Guest Neetu Gulati applauded the efforts made by the students as well as teachers.The area coordinators, Urmila Koul delivered the welcome speech and the programme was ended with the vote of thanks by CCA Coordinator, Junior Wing, Sonia Mahajan.
Dewan Devi Playway School celebrated Mother's Day with great zeal. A cultural programme was presented by the tiny tots. The students of Primary Wing made beautiful cards for their mothers. Cooking Without Fire competition was also held in the premises. Students prepared nice puddings, snacks, salads for their loving mothers.
The principal of Primary Wing encouraged the students and advised them to take care of their mothers.
Rainbow Public School organized an impressive function on the auspicious occasion of Mother's Day today at Rampura, Gandhi Nagar within school premises. Ajay Pargal State General Secretary BJP Youth (BJYM) was the Chief Guest on the day. Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Pargal said as we all know that mothers are the divine power without them a family cannot survive.
Pargal appreciated the multi talented role of mothers as house women, as working women & much more. Pargal added that our Prime Minister Narender Modi has taken a very good initiative and launch Beti Padhao Beti Bachao to safeguard the interest of women's & protect women's empowerment.
