JAMMU, May 8: Bhalwal zone shall be playing against Akhnoor zone in both under-14 and under-17 finals of Kho-Kho in the ongoing inter-zonal district level (boys) competitions of Jammu, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Government Higher Secondary School, Domana, here, tomorrow.
Earlier, in the semifinals, played today, Bhalwal outplayed Bishnah zone 8-3 and Akhnoor trounced Satwari zone 3-1 in the under-14 semifinals. Similarly, in under-17 category, again Bhalwal beat Bishnah by one turn and eight points and Akhnoor zone beat Satwari zone by one turn and two points.
In the meantime, Miran Sahib zone and Marh qualified for the under-14 final beating their rivals in straight sets. While Miran Sahib beat Khour zone 2-0, Marh defeated Gandhi Nagar zone by similar margin.
On the day of the competition, Principal of host GHSS Domana interacted with the participating teams.
