Jammu, June 11: Today Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) held a massive protest demonstration at Press Club, where hundreds of Rajputs gathered and raised slogans for the establishment of Rajput Welfare Board and also declare 23rd Septemberas a Gazetted holiday. According to press release, the protest demonstration was led by Surinder Singh Gilli, President of Yuva Rajput Sabha.
While adressing the media persons, President Gilli said that Maharaja Hari Singh was Maharaja of the whole state and he was the person who actually gave a new path to the development of the state and finishes untouchbility in the state, enhance girl child education, and many other things for the betterment of the state, but in present time, those persons who did nothing for the state, a Gazetted holiday been declare on their birthday and on their death day also, but no holiday has been declare on the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh.
So, we are demanding the government should declare 23 September as a Gazetted holiday i.e the birth anniversary of almighty Maharaja Hari Singh.
He further added that if govt doesn’t accept our demands we will came on the roads and will hold a strike to address their issues.
