Jammu, June 11: HK Nissan a unit of HK Auto World Pvt Ltd, today launched Datsun Go.
According to press release, making the announcement, Umar Yaqoob Mir, Managing Director, HK Nissan (A Unit of HK Auto World Pvt Ltd)., said in presence of Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Mir (Board Of Directors) Mr. Zaffar Iqbal ( General Manager) Mr Suhail Khan ( Deputy General Manager) and all leading bankers "Datsun redi GO is created specifically for Indian roads and manufactured here, we are confident the Datsun redi-GO will delight our customers".
He further said, It's this country's first urban-cross vehicle, and a testament to our commitment to bring our best to India here in Kashmir. From the wheels up, Datsun redi-GO has been designed to bring fun and freedom to our customers and shake-up the conventional compact hatchback segment." The redi-Go is powered by a 799cc three-cylinder petrol motor that churns out 53bhp and a peak torque of 72Nm, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The car will return a claimed fuel efficiency of 25.17kmpl. The redi-Go measures 3,429mm in length, 1,560mm in width and 1,541mm in height. The redi-Go is having a 26.8-degree approach angle and a 58.6-degree departure angle. It runs on 13-inch wheels and also comes with an audio system that has radio, CD, MP3, USB and aux-in connectivity. Comes in five colors - ruby red, white, silver, lime green, and grey - the redi-Go is price starts from Rs. 2.39 lacs.
