Jammu, June 11: The matter of "Discussion over Pahari Reservation" in the assembly has been very seriously viewed and termed the discussion very painful for the State OBCs. The previous Govt. lead by treacherous National Conference had passed 5% Reservation in the assembly for Pahari with 2% enhancement in the OBC reservation which was conditional. State Governor turned down this reservation as it was totally based on the language which can never become the base for reservation, said Kalidass. This Govt. should have not accepted the bill for discussion in the Assembly as it is a only a muscle force politics, purely unconstitutional. Present dispensation lead by PDP should gauze this type of Reservation only for give benefit to those upper caste people who have not been covered under RBA/ALC Categories, he said. It was appealed to the Chief Minister to set aside the concept of Pahari Reservation which is totally baseless, senseless and unconstitutional. |
