Udhampur, June 14: Ashok Gupta- President District Congress Committee Udhampur on Tuesday toured villages including Krimchi, Masam, Pathi, Lam, Dabar and several others and took stock of the problems being faced by people.
According to press release, he was accompanied with Vijay Manhas-Secretary PCC, Ashok Bakshi, Raj Sarpanch and Manav Opadhya during the tour.
While addressing series of meetings in these villages Gupta said that as per directives of PCC
There is strong resentment amongst the people against the Govt. as their representatives have gone for hibernation and there is no body to hear their problems.
Gupta stressed the need of strengthening Congress party in Udhampur and said that there is no alternate of Congress, which stands on the policies of secularism, socialism and democracy.
Prominent among those who attend these meetings included Sander Singh, Mohd Sharief, Om Prakash, Kuldeep Bhagat, Mohd. Yusuf, Vjay Sharma and others. |
