Early Times Report JAMMU, June 14: Police headquarters (PHQ) has constituted two boards to redress the grievances of its personnel from a cop to the rank of an Inspector. While one board would deal with the complaints of police personnel from a cop to an ASI, the other was formed for SIs and Inspectors only, police sources said. These boards would look into the domestic problems of the above mentioned ranks and their other problems and then take decisions about their transfers to suitable places, the sources added. The board, which would hear the grievances of SIs and Inspectors, would have DG (coordination) as its chairman. Its members included ADGP (armed), IGPs of Jammu and Kashmir divisions, DIG (adm), PHQ, and AIG (pers). The two IGPs would work in their respective zones. Yogendra Koul would be the chairman of the other board. Its members are: SSPs of Jammu and Srinagar districts, AIG (pers), PHQ, and commandants of 13 and 15 Bns. The step to form two boards was taken for early redressal of the grievances of the above mentioned ranks, sources said, adding that their members would be meeting on the first and third week of every month.
