Samba people no entry for heavy vehicles on Link Road 6/14/2016 11:44:51 PM Early Times Report Samba, June 14 :Demanding no entry of heavy vehicles on Link Road Samba and Border Road, the locals said that movement of heavy modes of transportation on these roads is causing frequent traffic jams. People sought that the all heavy vehicles including trucks and buses should be banned on these routes from 8 am to 8 pm so as to smoothen the traffic flow. The Link Road and Border Road witness high volume of traffic as they are important arterial road linking several areas with Samba town. The Link Road has old market on either side and thus, it witnesses heavy traffic throughout the entire day. Due to heavy rush of vehicles, the people face lot of difficulties to cross this road. Heavy vehicles such as buses and trucks affect the traffic movement. Early in the morning, school students also face a lot of problems due to traffic jam. Shopkeepers on this stretch too pointed out that the main reason of congestion is parking of vehicles on roadside.
