Vijaypur, June 14: Congress leader Arun Sharma today demanded from government to declare holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
According to press release, Sharma appealed people belong from all three regions of state to put their voice before government for declaring the holiday on that day.
"Maharaja Hari Singh was the last emperor of Jammu and Kashmir, and he was secular leader", said Sharma, adding that during his regime, he had done many revolutionary decisions such he has enacted the Land Reforms Act in the State. |
