Srinagar, June 14: CNS: Acute shortage of drinking water for the last few days at Hamray Pattan triggered massive anti-government demonstrations on Tuesday. Hundreds of people including women took to road and blocked Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway resulting in the disruption of vehicular movement.
The angry protesters staged demonstrations against Public Health Engineering department, accusing it of "deliberately snapping" water supply.
