Locals, Sportspersons protest lack of facilities at stadium 6/14/2016 11:50:38 PM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, June 14:Locals and sportspersons held strong protest against lack of facilities at Subhash Sports Stadium Udhampur.Protesting locals and sportspersons demanded provision of facilities at Subhash Sports Stadium.A sportsperson Aman Kalsotra while talking to Early Times that the stadium is just for the namesake as it has no facility of drinking water, washroom and change room.Ajay Kumar, Rajesh Gupta and Prince Mehra students and Cricket players said that sewerage waste from several adjoining houses flows towards the stadium ground besides the residents throw waste material inside the stadium complex which is great harm to the health of sports persons.When contacted, Manager Sports Council Udhampur Shaktyesh Chopra admitted that there is no proper boundary wall, entrance gate and security system in the stadium but this matter has been put up before the concerned authorities to create all needed facilities in Subash Sports Stadium.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
