Jammu, June 14: Complying with the instructions of Housing and Urban Development Department, a thematic cleanliness drive in all popular forest sanctuaries, reserved forest areas, parks and animals welfare establishments, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) conducted a drive in the Municipal Park at Parade, Jammu.
During this drive thorough sweeping of park foot path was done and about a one vehicle of garbage was collected and lifted by the SKCs deployed.
Senior citizens and other locals including children of the area appreciated the drive launched by JMC as huge garbage was accumulated in the park due to the strong winds and rains occurred a few days back. They also requested to install the dustbins in the park for the disposal of the garbage. |
