Jammu, June 14: NSUI on Tuesday has alleged the State coalition government for neglecting sports persons after assuming power in the state in a press conference organized at Jammu University cafeteria.
According to press release, addressing the press persons here today, Sardar Ranjodh Singh, state secretary, NSUI, lambasted the sports minister of the state for its neglecting attitude towards the sport persons of the state.
Narrating the incident of evening dated 10/06/2016, due to storm, the ceiling of judo hall of M.A. stadium got completely vanished and it was fabricated only four years ago which depicts that the material used for fabrication was of spurious quality and the pertinent thing to mention here is that due to grace of almighty, no one got injured in this incident.
Taking a strong note of this incident, Sardar Ranjodh singh appealed to the government and sports minister in particular to look into matter and constitute a committe of veterans which will probe into matter and initiate criminal proceedings against the state sports council. Further, he warned the sports minister that if ceiling of judo hall is not constructed on war footing, NSUI will be on roads for the causes. |
