Three killed, one injured in road mishap 6/22/2016 12:06:07 AM Early Times Report Doda, June 21: yet in another tragic road accident in mountainous district Doda , three persons were killed while one sustained injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Ragi nalluh on Batote Doda road. As per reports the Eco car (JK17-3619 ) today met with an accident at Ragi nallah on Batote -Doda Highway approximately 30 Kms from District headquarter Doda resulting into death of three persons and injuries to other occupant of vehicle. "As soon as the news of the accident reached to Doda, the senior officials of district administration and Police rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation, reports said. They said, "After hectic efforts, police with the help of local people evacuated bodies and injured from deep gorge. "The deceased have been identified as Zakir Hussain s/o Gulam Hussain of Hanch Dharra Near Bharat,Doda, Imtiyaz Ahmed s/o Abdul Kareem Zargar of Bhagna Naagsaini, Kishtwar and Mushtaq Ahmed s/o Mohd shafi of Ganika Doda, police sources said, adding that the injured has been identified as Mohd Farookh r/o Malwana Doda who is shifted to District Hospital Doda for further treatment Meanwhile Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Doda Sjakti Raj Parihar , MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar and PDP General Secretary and JKCA Chairman Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal have expressed grief over loss of three lives in a road mishap and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.
