Rasheed again challenges JK's accession with India | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Srinagar, June 22: Having lust to remain in news, controversial Pro-Separatist, Pro- Pakistan MLA Er Sheikh Abdul Rasheed today again challenged the constitutional right of India on state of Jammu and Kashmir and demanded holding of plebiscite in both Jammu and Kashmir as well as in illegally Occupied Pakistan occupied Kashmir so that the merger of the PoK with J&K could be done and same could go either way beside also batted for holding dialogues with militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen including its poster boy commander Burhan Wani. While speaking on the grants of the departments hold by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Er. Rasheed once again repeatedly called that J&K is not integral part of India. Demanding answer from government as why he is being "barred from entering Jammu", Rasheed reminded Speaker as how "he was attacked in Assembly during last autumn session". "Be thankful," Congress' Vikar Rasool shouted from the other end, "do you remember how I got you freed like a rat." As house witnessed huge laughter over it. Rasheed was attacked and thrashed by BJP MLAs in 2015 Autumn session a day after he had allegedly organized beef party at his flat in MLA Hostel. "It's not for the first time that Er Rasheed has challenged JK's accession with India. He has developed a habit of it. Within few days he has raised this issue for the second time in the Legislative Assembly and the legislators have listened to him," said an analyst. He said, "The Speaker of the Assembly should take a note of Er Rasheed preaching secessionism in the Assembly and he should be disqualified from the House forthwith. He getting away every time has emboldened him." A Kashmir watcher said, " If he is so unhappy with India and its system he should go to Pakistan and stop drawing the hefty salary which he draws due to him being a legislator. The Legislative Assembly is a temple of democracy and anti-national elements and stooges of Pakistan have no place there." |
