Jammu, June 22: Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Art, Jammu in collaboration with Kala Kendra, Jammu concluded 'Theatre and Painting workshop' at Kala Kendra here today.
In this workshop the veteran and senior artists and experts were appointed to conduct the workshop .The Painting workshop was conducted by TS Batra former Principal, Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Jammu.
Thloke Kaul, Pioneer artist of Modern Art in Jammu and Kashmir was the chief guest whereas N D Jamwal, Veteran artist and writer was the guest of honour. The Chief Guest appreciated the roll of JKCCA for organizing, State, All India, National and international events in and outside the state.
He congratulated Pt. Kawel K Sharma, President of JKCCA and O P Sharma, Director JKCCA for doing work as a mission to promote Art, Culture and Literature.
The aim for conducting these workshops is to give an opportunity to the younger generation to explore their talent and give basic training to the students. In this workshop, 32 childrens from 12 different Institution participated.
He further disclosed that JKCCA is organizing National Women Painting Camp at Kala Kendra, Jammu form 26th to 28 the August, 2016. |
