Streetlights on National Highway Samba defunct, MC in deep slumber 6/22/2016 11:30:26 PM Neeraj Badyal Early Times Report SAMBA, June 22: The streetlights of the Samba town installed along the National highway area by the municipal committee are lying defunct and the concerned officials have failed to replace them. The streetlights were installed several years back , but are not functioning from the last one year. The municipal committee Samba has failed to undertake the maintenance of these lights. "For last one year, we have seen these lights out of order" said, Ravi Khajuria", a local. The defunct streetlights were affecting business activity in the town. Few days back a major accident took place at samba and four people lost their lives leaving several others other injured.
