KPC urges center to reject rehabilitation policy of JK Govt | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 22: In its memorandum to MHA, Govt. of India, New Delhi, KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri requested Home minister of India to reject the proposal of state Govt. for allowing the trained militants to return Kashmir via Nepal route under the policy and procedure for rehabilitation of misguided youths announced by NC--Congress Govt. in 2010 as that would not be in the interest of over all security of the country .in this communication KPC Chief highlighted that as per the report of J&K Govt.a huge number of 4587 youths have crossed to POK--Pakistan from Jan,1989 to December,2009 and out of them so for 489 have returned to valley along with a huge number of PAK born family members. If all these brain washed trained militants will be allowed to return via proposed Nepal and other approved routs under rehabilitation policy, the number of these trained militants would be very high including their their highly motivated wives and children, which could prove any time dangerous for the security of the country in general and security of the state in particular. KPC Chief further mentioned in the letter that change of heart of these highly motivated trained militants is very difficult and that too under the atmosphere of hate--Hindu, hate--India and in radicalized situation of the Kashmir valley. |
